Report #820 – Initial Post by Brad Bradley

CPRI was asked to help support an event to raise funds for [REDACTED] and Scares That Care on 6/29/19. Basically, the public was led through the [REDACTED] site for paranormal investigations and they were later allowed to roam the site in teams of two or more. Many spent the night onsite in the hospital building and the ordinary building.

CPRI HQ was in the second floor conference room of the ordinary building and we only ran video and audio in [REDACTED] and the Civil War burial ground area. We also ran Geiger counters at both sites, a tablet datalogger in [REDACTED] and HT sensor dataloggers in the burial ground. We also placed a voice recorder in the burial ground area and in the open ground between the ordinary and [REDACTED]. Another voice recorder and game camera was placed in the church building. CPRI members were tasked with live monitoring the video/audio/geiger counter from HQ all night and answer questions for the public. We did not have to help with any tours.

CPRI Team was Brad Bradley, Mike Magner and Richard Bowen.

Report #822 – Datalogger Analysis by Brad Bradley

Geiger counter, [REDACTED], 1st Floor East Room
***We noticed that spikes in ionizing radiation observed in real time seemed to coincide with dust bursts stirred up by attendees. More analysis will need to be performed to determine actual correlations.***

Report #823 – Initial Post by Mike Magner

I assisted with the Event Support at [REDACTED] on June 29-30. The main objective for that evening was pretty much a show-and-tell of our equipment and techniques. Our expectations of getting any useful data were quite low, given that we would be sharing the [REDACTED] with about 60-70 people that night and there would be essentially no controls in place to ensure that sights and sounds and other environmental data that was collected did not have a human cause. During my time on-site I did not have any personal experiences that I would attribute to paranormal. Just a lot of annoying insects.

Report #824 – HT Data Analysis by Mike Magner

HT Data loggers were deployed at 3 locations around the perimeter of the old burial ground, all were just inside the fence. HT#1 was at the NE Corner, HT#2 was at the NE Corner, and HT#3 was at the middle point of the West fence line. The dataloggers ran for about 5 hours and 50 min from 8:18pm to 2:08am. The loggers all confirmed that it was very hot and humid outside. On HT#1, the graph showed a major spike in Humidity, Temperature, and Dew Point all at 12:44 am that lasted for a few seconds and then went back down to normal. A review of the audio clip from the DRO5 that was a few yards away provided the cause: One of the guests had seen the data logger and picked it up to look at it.
